It's not Friday yet, this board should not be this slow. ::Sadface::
I got through my presentation, although I feel like I sounded like a blubbering idiot to a bunch of PHD's who looked at me like I had the mental capacity of a 12 year old. (Although, to them, I probably do) But I survived. Now a night of girl movies, and red wine.
No more stress until tomorrow. yay!
What's up with everyone else?
Re: Who is here?
I'm in and out.
I'm folding laundry and watching Swamp People. Exciting.
The most beautiful place on earth to me: Glacier NP

I'm lurking around. Watching Weeds (confession: I sort of want to be Nancy Botwin, but not really).
We should do a poll to attract people to the board tonight.
For some reason that movie reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. We are friends, and I know that he would laugh at me for saying it, but it's true.
I'm watching Grey's. I'm addicted.
I agree it's been ridiculously slow. It's made my work days boring.
Have anything in mind?
Give me half an hour and I will be buzzed enough to think of some fun questions.
I'm here. I'm bummed because I thought maybe just maybe the tree that my FIL thinks is citrus might be a gardenia or a camellia, but I just sent him a picture of the bloom and its not
However right now it smells fab and now I just get to wait and see what yummy fruit it brings me.
I need to eat dinner, and call my friend who is coming for the weekend. I think I might go take a walk. Not sure though.
Nacho Libre FTW.
"Chancho. When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It's for fun"
I'm here I guess. I need to get my butt on the elliptical, do 30DS, then pick up the house. But I'm cuddling a sleeping baby and its making me sleeeepy.
How are you liking your new place? Have you tried to eat at La Hacienda yet? It is fabulous.
I just saw your FB message!
I haven't tried La Hacienda yet, but I'm so thankful for the recommendation. I could really go for some good Mexican food. Especially since I had cereal for dinner for the second night in a row!

I really like it here! My neighborhood is so quiet and I love my house. It makes me feel like such a grown up. The area is a little "backwoods" but it reminds me a lot of the town I grew up in actually. I have a had a few moments of "Where the heck am I??
Seriously this was my biggest culture shock. I was not expecting that at all when we moved there. And sometimes I wondered how people actually passed their drivers exams. LOL. It took me a while, but the people are really great once you get to know them.
Your neighborhood is great. I was so jealous of our friends who got to live there and we were stuck in Navy Housing.
La Hacienda is one place I miss. The owners are amazing and it is authentic Mexican food. I haven't found anything like it since we left.
Seriously. I got honked at today because I was actually yielding. Sorry dude, but I have precious cargo, I'm not about to try and squeeze my way into cars going 45mph because you're running late.
Hurray for authentic Mexican food! That makes me really happy!
Yes, I have a firm belief that the people of North West Florida do not know the difference between Yield and Merge. (New Jersey drivers either, but in a different way.)
One time, I was coming home from base, and someone made a U-Turn in front of me, I had to slam on my breaks to avoid hitting him. So I honked... The dude flipped me off!! And of course there was absolutely no one behind me. I will never forget that.
