I posted this on my local board, but hopefully someone here has some info. TIA!
We are planning to book a room at the new resort in AC for July, but I was wondering if anyone has a promo code or discount? The rooms are on the more expensive side and as far as I have looked, there's no discounts from any travel websites like expedia, cheaptickets, priceline, and so on.

I have a family member who works here and I live close. Unfortunately I don't think you'll find a discount code for a while.
Since it is brand new and the summer is going to be their busiest time, it will be near impossible to find a discounted rate, although I'm not saying you won't. They don't even promote gambling like other casinos do so comps are hard to come by there as well.
I would seriously consider staying there though. It may be worth the money. The beach is private and the resort has so much you won't have to go anywhere else.
They have an indoor/outdoor pool, spa, shopping and many restaurants. I'm not sure how long you are staying for but it is advertised to be a resort more than a casino.
I'm just dropping it in here that this place is smack in the middle of the worst area of AC, the views towards land are literally of slums, trashed empty lots, abandoned homes, etc.
I also wonder how this private beach is going to affect the public beach north of the property, because I know a lot of locals use it pretty extensively. I've been there a few times because it's a nice beach with bathrooms within an hour's drive - on the weekdays it's awesome.

I wondered this too. I thought maybe it was partitioned off but I'm not sure. The entire property is smoke free as well. Inside and out. I think there is a very small area in the 4 story night club that you can smoke. That's all
