Good morning everyone! I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful weekend. What do you have planned for this last day of the week and the weekend?
Re: TGIF
Morning. Had a good dentist appt, and I?m feeling better about it. She seems like a good fit for me, and that?s important.
We?re hoping to get the weeds in the yard under control and get some work done on DD?s play area. Otherwise just doing stuff to get ready for my parents.
It's Friday evening here, but it was a fairly lazy day. I had to wake up early to call the Louisiana Department of Revenue and straighten out some issues with my 2011 return, but after that I went back to sleep until 10. Then I woke up and get dinner started (Moroccan-Style bean burritos) and then just futzed around.
Tomorrow we're getting pizza from the really good pizza place in the next town over to bring home for movie night -- A Fish Called Wanda is on the menu.
Sunday, if it's not raining, we'll do some yardwork (by me, I mean DH) and some housecleaning in anticipation of our rental inspection in three weeks.
Overall just a boring, quiet weekend.
Working from home today, still a lot to do. Had leftovers for lunch (yumm) that exploded in the mictrowave (yuck).
No specific plans this weekend. My dad unexpectadly came over and is sleeping in my guest bedroom right now, but I think he's got plans all weekend. I hope the weather (and delivery) will cooperate so I can get some yardwork done, otherwise nothing planned.

What I'm looking forward to in 2012:
Eating our way through (northern) Italy on vacation
<a href="http://www.thenest.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Home DENjoying our little break. But this morning I slipped on the stairs while I had N in my arms! Landed on my a$s and not sure if N bumped her head or not. We both got a shock needless to say! Poor little thing didn't know what had happened. Think she'll be fine and I'll have a lovely bruise...
But looking forward to the rest of the weekend (walks on the beach, visiting relatives).
Chronically hilarious - you'll split your stitches!
I wrote a book! Bucket list CHECK!

On Saturday my best friend and I are hanging out. We were going to go wedding dress shopping, but apparently the stores are all going to be closed fifteen minutes after the earliest we could get there. So we don't know what we're doing but we'll hang out.
Sunday is Ryan's birthday! I've got $3 in the bank though, so I can't get him anything and with him 8,000 miles away we'll probably... talk. And most likely less than normal because his parents or friends will take him out. I'm trying to brainstorm something free and clever, but all I can think of is a "Happy Birthday Ryan" blog post.. which I'll probably do anyway.
"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." -Isaiah 61:10 NKJV
