I'd still be pizzed off that the school board never admitted that they failed in any way.

The fact that he emailed several people, several times about someone the school board and administrators knew had violent tendencies and STILL didn't get any help from them is disgusting. I know that people say a settlement is basically an admission of guilt, but I don't feel like I'd ever be happy until they came out and said they did something wrong. And then for the school district to go on and say that they're proud of the work they've done to bring awareness of bullying is just wrong.
The amazing thing is, he doesn't seem bitter about it at all. I wish him all the best in the future, he deserves it.
1000% This. Poor Kid!
It is a real shame that the adults that kids are supposed to be able to rely on and trust are often not reliable or trustworthy.
I feel the need to add that Tami Taylor would never have let this happen.
