It'll be my "intake" appointment, but it'll actually be my 3rd appointment all together! I had an ultrasound on 4/4 b/c my levels were high so they thought I was further along than I really was (they saw an empty sac), then I had my 2nd ultrasound on 4/10 (I was 5w6d at that point but the baby measured 6w4d which is why my due date might change). I got to see the heartbeat at that appointment! They scheduled my next appointment for 5/9 when they'll go through our family health history and all that.

I'm feeling really good! Tired and sore boobs, but no nausea. I'm bloated the majority of the time and I have random hot flashes, cramps, and headaches, but they only last a few minutes and don't really bother me...it actually comforts me so that I know I'm still having symptoms LOL. If that's the worst I'll have to deal with in first tri, I'll take it!!
Wow! How exciting the you saw the heartbeat. I can't imagine what that's like. I always thought that the ultrasound and family history would all be the same time. That's interesting. Do they do blood work every time you go in?
It sounds like your symptoms aren't too bad. I know they can be killer. I knew a woman who was stuck home from month 2 through the end with such bad morning sickness she had an in home nurse and was on a constant iv for anti nausea meds. The poor girl was miserable.

ha, no worries!!!
Now what did I do? I haven't been to a doctor, I have not had blood work done, I've done no family history, I truly assumed that all was done in on appointment with an ultrasound...I honestly know a woman who was sick for 7 months and swore she would never have another child...I asked Sarah how she's doing. She asked me and I said I'm fine. Please tell me how any of that warrants this remark from you. Should I just stop posting on here? Stop talking to people? Not ask how a newly pregnant Nestie is feeling? Not share stories? Find a new website with a message board of "friends"? I did nothing wrong here!!!
I asked johlise how she is feeling... Was that inappropriate to do as well? I told Krissy the pic of her child is cute, is that not ok? Should I stop posting about people's babies/pregnancies like I have been since the first one on here got pregnant just to make you happy?
This might sound stupid, or childish or immature but you're really upsetting me. Maybe that's what you want to do and my admitting it is just making you happier but this is uncomfortable to me.
Im sorry if at some point it did something to upset you, but I don't see why you are picking on everything i say.

Im feeling very lucky to not feel sick! My friend had all day sickness for 22 weeks and was MISERABLE. After being around her a bit and seeing that, I'm hoping morning sickness skips me all together LOL.
I don't know how most appointments work, but I'm not complaining about getting extra ultrasounds if that's the case!
I sure hope it skips you because it sure can make you miserable. I had it until I was 18 weeks and even while I was on meds that were supposed to take care of it!

I'm not bitter, I'm not angry. I'm not looking for hugs or being an aw....
But maybe we could put something on there for the nestie babies that were never born but had a EDD? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would benefit from that. I know that would mean a lot for some people, myself included. God forbid any of you experience a loss, I wouldn't want that person to feel alone. Is that weird?
I think that is a really sweet idea. We unfortunately have a lot of nesties who have babies in heaven on his board and I love the idea of recognizing them.
That's a fabulous idea, there is several of us who have little angels! The blog is definitely open for new suggestions from anyone! I'll add a page especially for this!
