It feels like it has taken forever to get here!
What are your plans for today? This weekend?
Today I'm working till noon and then we are hanging out at the office while the carpets get cleaned. It should be kind of a fun day! I bribed my husband to come help with Chinese for dinner so we will go do that after we close up the office. Tomorrow I'll clean the house and then my BFF is coming to visit tomorrow afternoon and we are going to go get pedi's and then hang out. Super excited for some girl time!

Re: Happy Friday!!!!
dangit.. Now I'm craving Chinese and it's only 730am here.. >__<
yay for girl time! I can't even remember the last time I had a pedi! Good for you for getting in some pampering
Today, just the gym, house cleaning, studying...I think we have a double date planned with my girlfriend and her partner but I should probably double check on that.. haha..
Tomorrow H and I are going up to Vancouver BC for the day/night. He's been away since uh.. February? On random TADs so it'll be nice to just get away from the world for a while. At our wedding, my uncle gave us a bottle of REAL Champagne from Champagne, France for us to open on our 1 year wedding anniv, but H will be deployed for that so I think we shall pop the cork this weekend
I don't think words can properly express how happy I am that it's Friday! I'm at work today, thinking I might leave a bit early though to clean house....I don't know when I'll be able to do it otherwise.
Tomorrow I need to go to Fort Collins so I can go to Toys R Us and shop for a certain kid's birthday. Her party is next Saturday so I need to shop this weekend! Then we have a wedding to go to tomorrow evening. Sunday we are having our "Easter" lunch since we were at the cabin for Easter weekend and didn't get to have our normal family GTG that day.
Our anatomy scan is on Wednesday and I'm so freaking excited even though as of today, we aren't planning on finding out what we're having. I just can't wait to see our little miracle. But I'm scared out of my mind that they are going to tell me there's 2 of them in there even though we didn't see 2 in there when I had my u/s at 6 weeks or at the one I had at 8 weeks. I just feel huge and my mom is a twin so i definitely have the potential to have twins. Not that twins would be a bad thing, by any means, but it sure would be a surprise!
Missed M/C 11/5/2010 @ 5 weeks, 3 days* D&C 12/3/2010 at 9 weeks, 3 days
Yay! Get super girls champagne cocktails
)
Vancouver is so fun! I'm sure you guys will have a great time! When we were there, alcohol was super expensive, so I say bring that Champagne and celebrate!
Today I need to go to TJMaxx and take back a jacket that I liked better in the store. I really want Panera soup for lunch, so I'll probably stop and get that. I also need to stop at Target and pick up some fun things to fill up a care package for a friend. I love coming up with stuff for care packages!
M has a volunteer event tomorrow and I think I will head to the Farmer's Market to see what it's all about. We will probably go out to dinner tomorrow to our favorite restaurant. We need to fit in all of our favorite places before we PCS!
Thanks kpol! haha I have heard that the booze is pricey up there
We feel like MAJOR slackers because we have lived about 70 minutes away for 2.5 years and are just now getting around to going. superfail. Oh well, better late than never?
Anything in particular you are looking for at the farmer's market? I
farmer's markets... It's going to be hard to PCS away from WA this year with how fresh the produce and meat, dairy, etc are here since it's so easy to buy from local, sustainable farms.
FINALLY!
This week has been so long. I had to run to my old school last night to get my official transcripts and then go to the new school to drop them off all because I was given wrong information from the first advisor I spoke to. Grr. Now I'm being told I probably won't know if my financial aid is approved/for how much until the week that school starts, maybe even after. Uh.. thanks. Oh and part of those grants I was planning on getting was going to also pay for my books so... this will be interesting.
Other than that.. it's suppose to rain, but it looks beautiful outside, so maybe I can talk H into Disney this weekend
The new furniture we ordered in February is schedule to be delivered today! I purposely didn't tell DH before he left so that it would be a nice little surprise for him.
Brb, need to vacuum and finish moving existing furniture in preparation. After that I just have more house work and hopefully also some school work.
Yay for ladies' night and yay for the Styme ultrasound!
I have my childbirth class at the hospital tomorrow. Fun times.
Oh it will be fun though! How are you feeling today?
A box of Franzia was $32 when we were there and the exchange rate was 1-1. $32!! I almost fainted! Even Yellow Tail was $15! The PX regularly sells it for $2.99 and I buy it to cook with.
We were in WA for about 2 years and I miss the farmer's markets the most. You're right, it was so easy to buy local out there and is much more difficult here. I'm not expecting much from the one out here, but I've heard they have locally roasted coffee which excites me. I'm hoping for some good strawberries, green beans, and real Vadallia onions.
Hallelujah! Friday!
I'm bringing C to the doc this afternoon to make sure her ear infection is gone. I'm sure it is b/c she's been STTN like a champ! Still waiting on a referral to an ENT though...
Tonight I'm seeing The Lucky One with friends and gorging on diet coke, movie popcorn, and Twizzlers. Can't wait!
Tomorrow, these same friends, C, and I are going to walk a 5k in support of the Ronald McDonald house and, conveniently, it's near Trader Joe's! I am STOKED to shop there. We plan to get lunch somewhere too and make a day of it!
Sunday will be Bible study and church. R has the day off so I'd like to get to Lowes to get some planters, soil, etc. so I can transplant my tomatoes and herbs b/c they're growing like crazy.
I think Friday is the only day I don't get excited for since it's the only day of the week that I work. But it's an easy day anyways. I'm glad that the weather cooled off a bit from the high 80's it was earlier this week. I need to clean the gutters out because they are full of those stupid helicopter things off the trees.
I have no big weekend plans. I need to pick out some fun cocktails and apps for next weekend when my mom and our family friends come down for a girls weekend. I'm super excited for that!
Well you can all be jealous that I've had a tea party with a certain toddler and Mr. Potato Head this morning.
I was planning on a trip to the beach this afternoon but we've been on the go the past several days and my house has been neglected. I think we'll just hang out here and run errands. I need to buy new pacifiers since DD decided to give the baby one we had when we first tried pacifiers and now she won't take her regular ones. Aye yi yi.
We just got back from DD's tumble tots class. It's awesome. She's only 2 (in May) but they gear it so it gets them ready for the real stuff later. It is so fun though.
Today is just a day to live through so I can get to tomorrow because of THE JON JONES FIGHT!!!!!!!
So effing excited I could die.
Pretty good! I got a full night of sleep, which is practically unheard of now.
I just got back from the gym, and I'm trying to figure out what to eat for breakfast. Later today I need to go to the post office and mail off DH's computer to him. Other than that, I'm not sure what we're doing today. We don't have plans for tomorrow either. Sunday we are going to my youngest sister's ring ceremony at the university.
Today is awesome! The housecleaners just left, so the place is spotless. DH and I will be watching hockey and eating at home tonight, mostly relaxing. Tomorrow we are going with some friends to check out some local wineries and do tastings, followed by supper out with the group.
Sunday, we are thinking of going for a hike. We're not sure which one yet, but that's the plan. There are lots of options in the area, so we just need to pick one.
Alcohol taxes in BC are _huge_. I hear complaints from AB folks when they visit BC about it all the time... And the AB alcohol prices seem high to me, compared to down here.
