Which curtains for my bedroom?

I can't PIP, so you'll have to make do with links.

My bedroom walls are a peacock blue.  (It looks a brighter on the walls, more green, less grayish.)

My bedding is white and yellow print.

My top two curtain choices: Medallion (in blue) and Woodland Garden

The Woodland Garden is on back order until July, which is fine considering I haven't had curtains up in the whole year we've lived here.  One of the two windows is above my bed, so my headboard will hide most of the pattern of the Woodland Garden on that wall, but the other window is completely unobstructed.

If I went with Woodland Garden, should I still do two panels per window?  With the Medallion I know for sure I'd do two each.

  • I LOVE the Woodland Garden. Like, really love. Its such a fun color combination and you'd be able to add any color accessory that you wanted.

I really wish I was bold enough to go with bright colors like that.

I agree, I love this one.

  • Also to answer your question, yes I think you should do two panels. Behind your bed could you maybe do just a solid white and the Woodland Garden panels on the other window?

  • Do you have shades in your room that will cover your windows in addition to the curtains? I know your house can get pretty sunny.
I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.

Ditto.  I love the woodland garden ones!  But I would probably just do plain white behind the bed which would be cheaper too if you aren't going to see it.

We have blinds on all the windows.

I currently have a pair of white black out curtains on the window that is not behind our bed because the apartment building across the street lights up like the Lampoon's house in December.  I can put those on the window above the bed so they still get some use.

  • Alright, I bought two of the woodland panels.  I'll let you know in July how it goes. Stick out tongue

  • They are both really pretty. Good choice on the woodland panels.
