How do you set your brow powder/pencil?

For the life of me I can't figure out how to get my brow powder/pencils to stay put, particularly toward the inside(t-zone) area, which is especially oily.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Re: How do you set your brow powder/pencil?

  • I use a clear brow gel first and then put it on.  That works for me (I use powder, not pencil).

  • I use a tinted brow gel....the Revlon one which is a pencil on one end and the gel on the other.  Clear mascara also works well.
  • Sorry, I probably should have been more specific.  My actual eyebrows are set slightly further out from where they should be(above the inside corners of my eyes), so I have to shade them in until the hair grows out.  Any recommendations for a product that will help my pencil/powder stay put in those areas?  Or just your favorite pencil/powder in general.  Thanks.  =)

First I use pencil, then I go over it with powder to set it.

  • Awesome, thanks.  I decided to try this brow marker(the color is buildable for a more natural look) and I set it with powder as suggested.  So far so good...no smudging up my forehead.  Smile
