Jordan did wonderful in his baseball game last night and We have a new family member! She is so sweet and the boys love her.

This weekend is going to be a busy weekend. I have a good many errands to run and some things I would like to get done around our current house. We have a baseball game tomorrow night and I need to go see both of my grandmothers at some point.
What does everyone have going on this weekend?

Re: TGIF
Yay, Friday! The bridal shower that my sister and I are throwing for my FSIL is on Sunday. So, I'll be busy all weekend prepping for that. I baked a cake last night so that it will be ready to crumble when my sister gets into town so that we can turn it into cakepops. My sister is staying with me all weekend and I think my mom is coming up tomorrow morning. We'll also have some other friends staying with us this weekend as they're coming to town for a 30th b-day party.
Needless to say, it will be a busy weekend, and I think my house is going to feel like a hotel with all of the people staying. It should be a lot of fun though. Have a great weekend, ladies!
Crystal - Congrats on your newest member of the family. She is adorable!
My weekend will be pretty low key. DH has to work tonight and tomorrow night. Tonight I am going to dinner at a Japenese Steak House, with my dad, step mother, sister and her family. It should be fun, however I wish DH could come. Thankfully, my mother has offered to watch the boys.
Tomorrow, I need to run some errands, and hopefully get a jump start on cleaning and laundry.
Sunday, I might go to my dad's for a little while so the boys can see their great grandmother, its been way to long and well over due.
Have a great weekend ladies.
Yay, Friday!!
We are boss-free today and next week, too, which makes today even more awesome.
We don't have any big plans for this weekend, which is a nice change from last weekend. We are going to try to make it to the firing range and we have the normal errands and chores, but that's about it.

Puppy!! So cute, does he (she?) have a name yet?
Apparently it's Friday? Every day has sort of felt like Friday.
Derek ended up not going to his actual job because this installation test thing took nearly all day. It does look really good though. However, today he's got to work 3-11pm, so I won't see him until laaaate. It was, however, very nice to get to spend the morning with him. I made these, and OMG so good.
I think we've finally got the internet issues settled. I was on the phone with tech support for over an hour last night (after finally getting transferred to someone who know WTF they were doing) and while it wasn't working when I hung up with him, he called me back about an hour later to say that someone else (his supervisor?) tried something and apparently it worked. It's been up since then, however, it just "flapped" off now, but came right back. If it does that (when I'm around to notice) more, I'm definitely calling again. Sooo frustrating.
Anywho, today I'm going to head out to Michael's to get the last of the things I need to finish up my craft projects for Chewy's room, clean my car out (most of the way there now) and get all the hospital bags and such packed and in the car.
Tomorrow my mom is coming over to help my clean, so I'm going to tidy/organize today in preparation for that.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

They were freaking fantastic. I'm really glad I waited until Derek was home to make them, or I probably would have eaten the whole thing myself.
Also? Apparently I spoke too soon re: internet. It's "flapped" twice on my since I've been sitting here (about 10 minutes?). It's coming right back up, but that still does not fly.

Raynes, I now know what I'm making for Sunday brunch! Yum.
Crystal, the new addition is so cute. Name?
I am soooo happy it's Friday. This week has just been crazy and stressful.
This weekend is going to be super busy too. Tonight we're headed to a friend's charity event. Tomorrow we have Cubs tickets. I'm secretly hoping the game is cancelled for rain because it is only supposed to be 45 out. Tomorrow night is a friend's birthday party, and then Sunday, now that we have a new car, we need to figure out what car seat to buy. I'm tired just thinking about it all.
Hope everyone has a great day and weekend!
Crystal-aww cute puppy!!! What did you name him/her?
abarber- Making cake pops is fun! What flavor are you making? It sounds like your weekend is going to be awesome
Katzblaze-yum Japanese steakhouse that sounds delicious.
Raynes- boo internet trouble stinks. I am also trying to loose weight your Pillsbury amazing nutella goodness is not helping.
Rebann- how often do you go to the firing range? I've always wanted to go. Maybe I can hitch a rid with BIL when he goes.
This weekend should be fun. The Dogwood art festival is happening all weekend. They have a dog Frisbee competition on Saturday. I really want to see it.
Crystal - your new puppy is adorable!
Happy Friday! Today should be a pretty quite day at work, there is barely anyone here today and most people who are here will leave a noon. I have meeting at one with our accountant to work on quarterly tax stuff then I'm probably going to get out of here as well.
This afternoon I need to pick up a birthday gift for my older sister and then we're meeting IL's for happy hour. Saturday morning J is helping his friend move so I'm going to do some yard work. Saturday night we're meeting up with my family to celebrate my sister's birthday.
Sunday will be house cleaning, grocery shopping, errands, and hopefully a little relaxing! Whew I'm exhausted just thinking about all that!
Not much going on here...I had a doctor's appointment this morning...everything looks good. Then I took a walk. Now I'm eating lunch and then I'm headed to meet Ed at work and then go to my parents' house for dinner since they got home from Florida yesterday! This weekend should be low key...Ed flies out Sunday for a week in New Orleans, so I'll have the week to myself...what will I do with my evenings?

crystal - OMG, your puppy is so adorable. I kind of want to steal it.
Last night I think we got 5.5 hours of sleep in 2 different spurts which is a bit more than we were getting and we're feeling pretty good today.
The health unit nurse came by today and she was so nice and helpful and reassured us and gave us some resources we can use. Madison was weighed and is back up to 7 pounds 7.5 ounces (was 7 pounds 9 ounces at birth) after only 1 week. This makes me feel good because she has gained 3.5 ounces in 2 days since we saw the nurse for follow up at the hospital so I know she is getting breast milk.
I used my pump for the first time this morning and managed to get about 80ml total between both breasts after I fed her. My engorgement seems to be gone but now I worry that I'm not feeling so full that I'm losing my supply. We'll see.
This morning I got the call from my Dad that Grandpa passed away. It was expected but it's still sad.
Crystal--Puppy is so cute! I like the name Sadie for a girl dog.
Rxbeth--Sorry to hear about grandfather ((hugs))
I am working on papers and getting more things packed. It is hard to believe that I am moving in 2 weekends.
We have an annual membership and we tried to go once a month or so.
