Re: Weekend Plans

  • Today - We are celebrating Fenways 100th birthday at work so we were allowed to wear jeans and red sox gear, we got to meet 2 former Red Sox players, free lunch and snacks this afternoon. Tonight, home to do some cleaning.

Tomorrow - Early dinner at our friends house down in Mass, probably hang out for awhile play some games, have some drinks.

Sunday - Clean and try not to get myself all nervous for Monday

Monday - Surgery day, blah, I know it will be fine but it's my first surgery so I'm a little nervous.

  • Today: cleaning around the house, trying to do some major decluttering, running some errands and might take the baby to my moms to play in her really big driveway.

Tommorrow: yard work during the day and then going out for dinner with some friends, having a girls night

Sunday: its suppose to rain so we will probably stay in and do stuff around the house.

Good luck!  Have Advil on hand and keep up on your meds.  I've had 3 laps, so if you need any other tips, let me know.  The worst part of recovery will probably be cramping in your shoulders/ neck from the gas working its way out of your system that evening/ the next day, but the incisions are really small and heal quickly.  I'd say you'll be 90% good as new within 72 hours.

    Tonight: Grocery shopping and Chipotle.

Tomorrow: Zumba, fabric store, starting a massive to do list for the apartment before my ILs come.  Relaxing at our house and drinks with friends.

Sunday: BBQ with my mentee at our place.

  • H is in STL (woot for weekend to myself!), and I'm puppy sitting for a friend, so things are a little topsy turvy this weekend!

Today: work til 4 (running home at lunch to let Comet out), then home.  Making shrimp for dinner, vegging out tonight.  Working on some Whipped accounting type stuff.

Saturday: brunch with a friend, running some errands, doing work in the garden - need to get weeded and cleaned up so we can till and compost next weekend.  Trying out a goat cheese mac and cheese recipe for dinner.

Sunday: More yard work (weeding and cleaning up landscaping in the front yard), heading over to the kitchen to make around 100 cupcakes for a few different schools - doing some marketing/PR for Teacher's Week.

Thanks! I'm sure it will be fine, and if I have to have another one I would be good to go, it's just the unknown right now :)
