Attn: April Birchbox owners
If you received the Befine facial moisturizer, check the expiration date on it! I just got an email from them stating some customers were sent expired samples. Sure enough, mine expired back in 2010! They sent out a link to complete if you received expired samples and are depositing 100 points to your account for it. Double check your samples before you used them!

Mine were expired as well.
What is crazy is that I would have never, ever noticed this if they hadn't sent the email! After I got the email I went to look at my packets and even knowing there was a date on that tiny package it still took me forever to actually find the expiration date! Something about that alone seems really shady to me. Seems like expiration dates should not be so hidden and small.
Whoa. That's not just a little bit expired. Why on earth would a company even keep products THREE YEARS after their expiration date? I'm giving a big side eye to both Birchbox and Befine now.

Yeah I was checking the cleanser and it doesn't have anything written, just some code number. I don't trust it though now. I did already use one of each (prior to receiving the email), and I thought they were kinda runny, especially the lotion, but rubbed off the excess and didn't think too much about it. But that's probably why.
