I just taught the ladies in my office (they are my parents' age) about 4/20. It was pretty funny.

HA!
I came in at 7:30 to work and at 7:31 I decided to take a half day today so I can go home and clean our house and have some wine.
I am actually excited to see the twins tomorrow and I plan to be that annoying aunt who takes tons of pictures of them.
# 1 - My boss gave his notice a month ago and I have been having a hard time with it as I'm not really sure I want a new boss, I have been secretly looking for a new job but feel totally guilty that I'm not giving my current job my full attention...
# 2 - Josh's birthday party is less than a month away and I am getting no help from Rick with the planning. I asked him questions last night and he just said "I don't care do whatever you want"...WTF he is your kid too, I need some help!
# 3 - My birthday is next Tuesday (4/24) and Rick has done nothing...How do I know? He just asked me what I wanted and what I wanted to do if anything...Ugh we have been together for 5 years please for the love of god use your imagination and do something for me that I don't have to plan/buy myself.

FFC #1 Had a happy meal today as I was a little hung over as I had a liquid dinner last night with DH, the cheese burger tasted sooo good
FFC#2 I'm so scared to give my notice on Monday... I really like my boss and hope that he understands I'm making a life decision. It is going to leave my team in a lurch as its heading into busy time with everything moving into production etc... BUT i'm so excited about my new job I am going to rock at it.
FFC#3- I bought a first day of new job outfit yesterday even though I'm on a budget...

Mary this is so me it is rediculous!! I have always wanted to be a good writer. I don't have the gift of language or the creativity though. I took a creative writing class for fun a couple years after college and I loved it. I got a good grade in the class but I think it was more because of the effort I put in. It makes me sad that i won't ever be a good writer.
Ditto Mary, exactly. I've got a few started but I can't finish them. I actually think I had a good idea for a book the last time I attempted NANOWRIMO (national novel writers month) but I never finished.
I've actually found a few of my 'to do' lists from when I was younger and they've always included writing a novel!

420 at my college was like a national holiday. There were fireworks at midnight, 420am and then hundreds of students would gather on the common to smoke at 420pm. It also happened to be a day of no classes for most of my time there. It was hilarious.
When I was younger, I was always writing stories, intending to make them novels. In high school I did write a children's book (illustrated and everything). I kept it for a long time, but I have no idea where it is now.
I don't think I'm creative enough to do it now, but I also have that pull. I really think it stems from my love of novels, like Mary said.
