Tarnished Cake Knife/Server???
Hi all. My cake knife and server have been locked away in my kitchen drawer since my wedding 2 years ago. I pulled them out today and they're a bit tarnished. I need them for my grandparent's anniversary party this weekend, and I'll bring them tarnished and all if I have to, but I'm hoping someone has a suggestion for me. I'm guessing they are only silver-plated because I dipped the tip of the knife [to test] in my sterling silver jewelry cleaning solution and nothing changed. I have also been rubbing them with a sterling silver cleaning cloth and I'm getting nowhere. Anyone have any thoughts???
