Resort casual attire-what to wear?

We are going away this weekend.  We have narrowed it down to a few places that we want to eat for dinner.  The dress code is resort casual.  I never know quite what to wear.  What do you suggest (we are in the midwest if that helps)?

Re: Resort casual attire-what to wear?

  • For you...a nicer sundress/maxidress, skirt and blouse or nice pants and a top and sandals.  For DH, usually khakis and a button down shirt or polo.  No jeans and usually no shorts unless they are nicer.
  • Exactly what Acorn said.

Yep.  Think (as much as I hate to say this) Beyonce & Jay Z on vacation.  Color mixed with white, flowing fabrics.  Relaxed but still polished.

  • Sorry this is belated, but thanks everyone!
