CANCUN All-Inclusives-Ideas?!
The hubs and I are planning to visit Cancun in October for 6-8 nights. We thought we picked an all-inclusive place, but the price just keeps creeping up and now, it's over our budget by $600.... So, I thought I'd post here and see where everyone's favorites are in Cancun.
Our budget is $2k. The closer to $2k for an AI, the better.
Some place that might be group friendly, as we're possibly meeting others there (Assuming we can pick a place) for a small group trip.

I saw this deal on Groupon Getways for Cancun

All you would need is plane tickets
We just went through this process with a group trip for July. Our budget was +/- $2k for airfare and lodging.
Expedia.com & Tripadvisor were extremely helpful in coming up with a place. We settled on Gran Caribe Real. We also looked at the RIU Palace Las Americas but didn't want to deal with the dress code for dinner.
that might be really tough. airfare is through the roof this year. good luck
dh and i go to cancun every december (beginning, not holiday time) and it's always been about 350-400 a person non-stop jfk to cun. this year it's almost 600 for the same flight.
Check out the Catalonia Yucatan Beach Resort and Spa http://www.cataloniacaribbean.com/us/our_hotels/caribbean/mexico/riviera_maya/hotel_catalonia_yucatan_beach/index.jsp
We went 2 years ago in october and we paid under 2000 for a week with airfare included. We also booked 2 weeks out from when we left. Sometimes the closer to when u want to go the cheaper it is, just depends on when your going. October/nov is the off season so its generally cheaper.
Stay away from the Grand Sirenis
