Has anyone stayed at Iberostar Grand in Punta DR?

It looks to have good reviews on trip advisor. Anything to add? What was the airport process like? I can't tell online but is it a large resort?

We went Nov. 2011 and had a great time there! One thing to note is that the resort is "U" shaped, so I would recommend getting an interior view room, as the outer perimeter has views of other resorts and condos. All the staff was incredibly nice and the food was good too!
At the airport, it's not too bad. We went through Apple so we met our rep and he got us to our transfer bus right away. Just walk past all the people trying to "help" you with your luggage. The Grand was the first stop from the airport and the last to be picked up to go home.
