AW: I actually placed in my 10k on Sat!
I raced in a small (~200 people) 10k this weekend and got second in my age group! I left without picking up my medal because I never dreamed that I would place and only noticed yesterday when the results posted.
The good news is though that DH came and took some decent shots of me running where I don't look like an idiot which is a plus. Overall the race was a total win!

Congrats! I had a mud run this weekend, and I would have placed too.... if I didn't have to wait 500+ people deep at the final mud pit
poor planning on their part, but it was the first event held locally of this type. Hopefully next year it will be better!
