Me on Sunday. Ignore the crazy hair. I had the brilliant idea that pinning my hair into twists and then letting it air dry would create beach waves, but all it created was a big, frizzy mess.

Face: Clinique BB, Benefit High Beam, Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Dollface, NYX blush in Taupe to contour, Cover Girl pressed powder.
Eyes: Maybelline Color Tattoo in Too Cool above crease, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Horseradish on lid. NYX Slide On penxil in Glitzy Gold on top and bottom lash line.
Lips: MAC Supra
Purchase (actually a gift): A Clarisonic Mia! I'm so excited to have one! The way it feels on my face is not at all what I expected. I was expecting it to feel somewhat abrasive, and was surprised that it doesn't at all. It's just a faint tickle. So strange! I also was shocked at how quickly it turns off (automatically after a minute), so it does it's job very fast! I normally scrub at my face with a Buff Puff for three times as long. It will be interesting to see if this makes any difference in my skin. I don't have problem skin, but what really drew me to the product was the claim that it will help my skin absorb the products I use on it better.
I also got this antioxidant facial serum to use at night, since I can't use my Vitamin C serum along with my copper peptide night cream. Manuka honey is supposed to be good for the skin and have healing properties.

Re: Monday FOTD (done early), skincare/makeup purchases and product reviews
My future SIL gifted me these, I haven't tried the shadows yet, but the lip stain is very pretty and stays on very well:
I used the hair one tea tree oil cleansing conditioner last week and I liked how soft my hair was. But when I added a little moroccan oil afterwards, my hair looked a little weighed down. So I won't add the MO the next time use hair one and see.
Maybe I used too much hair one too. I followed the instructions on the bottle and it was an insane amount of pumps per washing.

This is what has kept me from trying Wen. I've read that the recommended amount is a ton of product, so it seems like I'd go through that expensive bottle really fast. I'm looking forward to hearing your opinion on Hair One after you have used it for a couple of weeks. How often do plan to wash your hair with it?
I will use it again this week and try out different methods until it works well. The hair one was $10 and change. I signed up for Sally's annual insider membership so I will get a discount on all future purchases.
The store manager said you should always change up your haircare products for the best results for your hair. I was using loreal's sulfate free line but my hair was getting used to it and needed something new. I will tell you that my hair texture was pretty awesome after using the hair one just the one time. Soft and my hair felt lighter, not the usual dry wiry hair that I can get with bad shampoo and conditioner.
