Re: Convertible Dress
My experience is that they're just awesome in theory :O(
Prior to getting engaged I came across Two Birds Dresses and bookmarked them as BM dresses; when the time came myself, my sister and my SIL tried them on; we all have diff body types and they all looked terrible.
Target has them now too and I ordered one last summer hoping my opinions would change; but unfortunately I still couldn't pull it off. I'm 5"5" and 140 and look terrible in them. They just seem to show every little ridge, curve and outline.
Kudos to those who can pull them off!

I'm with PP... Only good in theory, IMO.
I was in a wedding and the bride considered them as BM dresses (so all girls would wear a different style but it'd be the same dress) and majority of the styles showed the person's back - many (all girls but 1) have big chests so going bra-less wasn't an option. And like PP said, the dress shows a lot of curves. I think those that have great model-like figures can definitely pull it off but unfortunately I don't have that body type.
I LOVE my Ravon by Von Vonni one, also purchased on ideeli. Ditto CAB about the styling. It takes a few tries to get a style that looks good on and you feel comfortable with.
Also, for those that want to wear a bra, or just want more security and coverage, Ravon also sells matching tube tops to wear underneath so the back isn't completely exposed.
This is what mine looks like on:
