Put down a deposit on an apartment!
It's a two-bedroom apartment in a complex really close to where I grew up, and I will be signing a lease for June 1. My goal is to be totally moved in by the weekend of June 15 (I am buying mostly new furniture, so that will give me two weeks to get that in place). They are currently doing a total gutting and remodel of the unit, so I will be getting an apartment with all new fixtures and appliances that have never been used before, AND I will have one of the few units that have a washer and dryer in the unit, which I love. I am so relieved to know where I am going next, even though I am now sitting here getting ready to crunch my numbers to fit rent into my budget!
