Crazy busy, here! Went to a movie night on Friday night. Wine-tasting festival on Saturday afternoon, then a party Saturday night. Brunch with BF's neighbors Sunday morning, then BF and I went out to dinner with HeyNey (who is super awesome, BTW), then dance classes.
How about yours? Any date updates?
Re: How was your weekend?
Friday a bunch of us went hiking. We got caught in a rainstorm. It was wonderful.
Saturday I got all dressed up in my renaissance garb and spent the day at Loveland Castle. I had a wonderful time.
Sunday, P and I went to my friend's daughter's first birthday party.
It kind of sucked... Friday was fine, went to a wine tasting with a bunch of friends.
Saturday D was supposed to come up for the day and spend the night, but he had to cancel because a work project got out of hand... I was SO bummed! I went out to movie anyway then came home, had a glass of wine and a bubble bath. But I then picked a fight with him... we made up and skyped but it still sucked.
Sunday, I photographed some portrait sessions, then hung out at my house and chilled. The weather was so gray and bleh...
It was great! S granted my wish for a ton of sushi on Friday, and then we spent the night at my place drinking beer, listening to music and chatting.
Saturday was the laziest day. I slept until an unspeakable hour, got up to run a few errands, and then just relaxed in my apartment until S came over after his radio show. We had a late dinner and then passed out.
And Sunday was his bosses' wedding, which turned out to be a really nice time. Really good food! Unfortunately, the drive was a total b!tch, and I was DD. At least he was grateful -- and he's driving to the next wedding, in a few weeks.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Fun!
Worked out both days (ran 5K, pilates and weights)
Saturday night went to Miss Burlesque Australia competition... had never seen burlesque before and ended up enjoying it and having a good time!
Sunday - relaxed, did laundry, cleaned
Tomorrow my Melbourne man comes up for a visit till Sunday!
I had a great weekend with BF. Friday night was listening to music, drinking, and talking.
Saturday was working around his house, movies, and cooking together.
Sunday was a wonderful 83 degrees so we went for a hike and had some fun in the outdoors.
Had friends from out of town here for business stay overnight at my place. We ended up chatting until about 3am in the morning. Hanged out with them for first half of the day and then I had some "me" time with hair appointment until my son came home at 7:30pm on Saturday night.
Sunday , went to chuch as usual and then in the afternoon, I took ds for a bike/trailer ride to a rose garden park and hung out.
I had a fantastic weekend! I had Friday off and DD and I took a roadtrip to visit my brother. Last week was horrendous in a lot of ways so it was great to get away and forget about everything. We went to an aquarium and took DD to play at a park. The weather could have been warmer but we did have a lot of fun so I can't complain really.
No dates...thank god because I'm sure anything I'd report on that front would be more of a disaster story than good news.
My weekend was pretty busy despite my plans to stay low key after a crazy last weekend in LA and San Diego. Friday a friend was visiting from out of town so a bunch of us went to some bars around Fenway after the Sox game, tried to call it an early night since I had to run eight miles on Saturday. Yeahhhh that was not a fun 8 miles at all. It was pretty hot and I was slightly hungover.
Saturday after I recovered and rehydrated I went out to dinner with a group of girls and to a bar after. Yesterday I was just gonna relax and have a rainy Sunday but my friend invited me to meet up with her, her boyfriend and some of his friends to watch the Bruins game so I figured why not. After they won in OT we all (6 of the group) decided to get tickets for Game 7 this Wednesday, can't wait!!!
My weekend was fantastic! Friday, D & I worked out together then headed to his place. Nothing too exciting there.
Saturday, we got up and went for a bike ride and rode 16.2 miles! I have not been on a bike in years, so I was a little scared, but I was actually able to walk yesterday so I'm in better shape than I originally thought. I felt so proud of myself because it seems like a huge accomplishment (I'm just getting into fitness). Saturday night we had dinner with a group of my friends that was really fun.
Sunday, we went to church then we were pretty much hanging out most of the day...nothing too exciting, but just enjoying being around each other.
Oh, and AF stayed away over the weekend which worked out perfectly!
