Manitou Springs/Manitou Incline/Barr Trail/Pike's Peak/Garden of the Gods/Cog Railway?
Re: Manitou Springs/Manitou Incline/Barr Trail/Pike's Peak/Garden of the Gods/Cog Railway?
I used to live in Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods is a must. It's especially cool to go at dusk because there are thousands of bats that make their homes in the rocks. Really neat to see.
Pike's Peak really isn't that interesting, IMO. It's cool to take a photo at the top, but that's about it.
Manitou Springs is awesome. It's probably the most beautiful area of town. I'd HIGHLY recommend going to Cave of the Winds. In fact, aside from Garden of the Gods, it's my favorite "tourist attraction" in town.
