update on my kitty :(
We just had to put him down. He was very sick, and the tests came back showing liver failure, but nothing else. We could either go to a specialist and try for answers and a slim chance of recovery, but he was so ill and so scared and combative we decided that wasn't fair to him. Just in the last 24 hours his skin turned completely yellow and he has lost half his body weight in the last 4 weeks. I'm heartbroken, but I know it was best for him. Both dogs curled up on my lap as soon as we got home, they at least know something is very wrong, though they are confused. I have to go back to work here in a bit, but keep us in your thoughts.
Wendy, I know our kitties are already playing together in kitty-heaven. Maybe Itty Bitty had a "nestie cats here" sign waiting for him 
So silly, but it really brought a lot of comfort to me thinking about that as he passed. Love you girls.

It made me cry to read this. I'm sorry your kitty got so sick so quickly. I'm sure it was a very difficult decision to make today, even if he was so sick.
Hope work was okay. I couldn't imagine going in today.
I'm sure he and Itty Bitty Kitty are good friends already! Itty Bitty only ever had bunny brothers here so I'm sure he loves having a nestie kitty friend to play with. Sure wish they were both still here with their families though!
