talk to me about your coffee maker
Not P&CER, obviously. I have a Senseo and love it, but the pods are becoming increasingly hard to find and too expensive. I am not interested in a Keurig. My preference is for a machine with a thermal carafe instead of a glass carafe that sits on a burner and scorches the coffee.
Help?
In case you're wondering where everyone went:

Re: talk to me about your coffee maker
Damn, I clicked on this, all excited to evangelize about my Keurig. Wah wah.
I can't help you otherwise. The reason I have the damn thing is because I can't seem to make a decent cup of coffee the old-fashioned way.
my sister has this one. it's awesome:

(this one is a little more reasonable):

i had this one and i really liked it:

now i have a mr. coffee with a glass carafe. i really like it but i think it's because we've finally figured out the magic formula for awesome coffee (3 scoops of folgers and 2 scoops of starbucks christmas blend for 8 cups of coffee)
The very nice people at the Girl's school (who let me drink their coffee with reckless abandon) have this:

You'll note, no carafe at all. But a fuel gauge that tells you when you're running out. It's 12 cup, and according to the Cuisinart website, it sells for $99. I think the business on the bottom, under the mug in the pic, comes out so you can put a traveler in.
I am the 99%.
