Size 14/16 ladies - swimsuits with molded cups?

Does something like this exist??  I need some super support for the girls...AND something to hold everything else in place (I've lost a significant amount of weight).  I was looking at the miraclesuit/magicsuits because I like the material support but it seems as though not all the suits have molded cups with full support.

Does anyone have one of these suits with molded (not the soft molded cup) cups?  Or, is there another brand of suits that you'd suggest? I'm currently in a 14, girls are still a DD (deflated though...think tube sock with a ball at the bottom - sorry for the visual!) and I no longer fit in the smallest Lane Bryant or Avenue sizes. :( Did like the cups in the LB Balconette suits.

ETA: a) this is my first swimsuit purchase in 20+ years, b) 2pc suits are out of the question, c) I am pushing 40.

TIA.

  • Congrats on the weight loss!!!

I have a couple of Miraclesuits, and they're great.  The structure in the suit itself keeps everything in really well.  The ones I have do have soft molded cups, but the fabric in the bust itself is very very supportive. They also have tankinis (2 piece bathing suits where the top is long, like a tank top) that have more bra-like cups.

Are you near a store that sells them?  If you go and try some on, I think that you might be pleased.

  • I love the brand Fantasie for bras, and they make swimsuits with an underwire bra built in. I haven't tried their swimsuits personally but their bras are great. I know they have them at www.herroom.com along with a bunch of other good brands.

  • Miracle Suits are awesome.  I have the cheaper brand from Target and it's really flattering on.  Also check out Land's End suits...they are very well-made and are not as matronly as they sound.

  • I like actual cups as well and have a Lands End suit that I really like.

I just ordered a Land's End I'll let you know how I do. They are ok......I really think only a boob lift will help me:(
