I need online dating advice

Last week Wednesday, I got an email from a guy on OkC who had seen me on Match but doesn't pay for the service.  Anyway, we emailed a bit back and forth Wednesday night and then again on Thursday night.  It was late so he said he's email the next day.  Friday, Saturday, Sunday....nothing. I'm a little disappointed because he seemed like a cool guy and had a lot of qualities I'm looking for.

So do I:

A. Do nothing - it was the weekend and people are busy on weekends and he might email this week.

B. Just leave it alone and realize he's just not feeling me.

C. Send a quickie email to try and restart the conversation

Heeelllppppp!

  • A

And if some time goes by and still nothing, move on to B.

  • Personally, I would do A then C but that is just me. I would just send one quick note and then do nothing if he didn't reply.

    Me too...

  • If a guy wants to reach out to you he will make it happen.

    Do A only.

  • Thank you ladies!! I appreciate the input!

I'm going with A.....and then B if nothing happens.

I myself am doing the online dating thing and it's like a whole new world. I've been talking tot his guy for almost a month and I've seen him once. We haven't missed a day yet. I'd do A and then move on. I know it sucks but remember, "Good things come to those who wait." Good Luck. :)

  • Thought I'd post a follow-up to this. So I decided to wait it out even though I was bummed about it because he seemed cool.  Anyway, I got an email from him tonight apologizing for not getting back to me sooner and he shot out some more getting to know you questions.
