Meltoine - F/U to your dress post

I don't know what your budget is, so there is a wide range in here.. I know these aren't exactly what you were looking for, but here is what I found that is kind of the same style. I don't know how tall you are so I don't know how short some of these would be on you. I think a lot of these would be super cute with a cute blazer/cardigan.

  • Thank you so much!

I really like 1, 9, and 10. I love the color of the first one and I think it would look great with a cream cardigan I already have. The one from Zara is pretty close too. I wonder if that neckline would work on me - I have really broad shoulders. I may have to order it and see.

    Thanks!

No problem! I was walking through CR and saw a lace one and was like HEY! this is something M was looking for on the Nest. H thought I was effing crazy.

I think as long as you keep a cardigan/blazer on, any of them would look fine. #9 does have a weird cut for the straps.. it like curves in. That style would never work for me. My boob fat would be everywhere. Not cute. lol.

LOL! I'm just afraid that the space between the strap and the outside of my should will look really large. But other than that I love the dress so I think I have to order it and see how it looks. I love the white ones too, but I'm partially justifying the purchase by making the dress pull triple duty - graduation plus at least 2 of the weddings I'm going to this summer.

I do this all the time. I'm not a dress person (besides maxi) so it really has to be justified for me to buy it.

I just have so many that I really have to create a reason to buy a new one. This time I'm going with "well the last 3 weddings I went to were all fall/winter weddings, so I need a new color scheme for spring/summer PLUS H's graduation will only happen once..." and all that jazz.

Sounds good enough in my head, especially since I'm recycling a dress for the dining out after the graduation.
