What event are you training for/date? NJ Marathon 5/6/12
What does your training schedule look like for the week? M - 5 mi speedwork, Tues- OFF, Wed - 6 mi tempo, Thurs - swim/lift, Fri - 8-10 mi, Sat - OFF
Any injuries or problems? so far so good!
Highlights from last week? a great 20 mi confidence boost
What's your favorite "sports/health/fitness/inspirational" movie? I don't have one...really want to see The Spirit of the Marathon though

What event are you training for/date? Chelanman 70.3, July 21
What does your training schedule look like for the week?
Sunday: 12 mile run
Monday: off
Tuesday: 3-5 miles (Stupid meeting so no track today)
Wednesday: 1:30-1:45 bike
Thursday: 30 minute bike, 20 minute run (brick session!)
Friday: 45 minute swim, 60 minute bike
Saturday: 5k race with friends with 3 miles extra before or after
This week is an easier week for me! I'm excited!
Any injuries or problems? I've just been sore. Yesterday I did zero exercise. It was much needed.
Highlights from last week? hmmmm, I got in every single workout I needed to do, it helped I didn't have to work!
What's your favorite "sports/health/fitness/inspirational" movie? It's not my favorite but it's my most recent "Ride the Divide".
Why? I had never heard of the race. It was interesting to watch, good documentary.
What event are you training for/date? Nothing on the calendar except Marine Corps Marathon in October. I may sign up for a half somewhere in between.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon - 3M + Strength, Tues- 4M, Wed - 4xHills, Thur- 3M + Strength, Fri- Rest, Sat - 35min fartlek, Sun - 6M
Any injuries or problems? Nope, going pretty good
Highlights from last week? Ran the 10 mile Parkway Classic with DH, it was fun to run together.
What's your favorite "sports/health/fitness/inspirational" movie? Remember the Titans
Why? I live a mile or so from the school in the movie, it's a great story that always makes me tear up

What does your training schedule look like for the week?
Monday: 45 min spin; corework
Tuesday: Treadmill speedwork; tabatas
Wednesday: Easy Run; corework
Thursday: Weights & yoga
Friday: Spin
Saturday: Not sure - schedule is way up in the air. Hoping for a long run and bike ride.
Any injuries or problems? The cough from hell that won't quit.
Highlights from last week? Realizing I could add to my running time by running to the Y with my son in the jogging stroller, putting him in the nursery for an hour while I did the treadmill, and then running home. Made the miles pass quickly.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? - Mon. rest, Tues. ST legs and 4 mile run, Wed. ST arms and TKD class, Thurs. easy 4 miler, Fri. ST arms, Sat. off, Sun. Race!
Any injuries or problems? - just that I suck at training. I love racing, but the training kills me!
Highlights from last week? - we sparred in TKD, that's always fun

5K - 2nd place AG, my time was a little slower than I wanted and I was 5 sec from first place.

Any injuries or problems? My calf is still hurting, at this point Im trying to take it easy and sub a run day for a bike day. Im so nervous to run broad street without one more long run, so hopefully Wednesdays 8 miler works out
Highlights from last week? PR my 5K by a minute! (31:28)
What's your favorite "sports/health/fitness/inspirational" movie? documentary on the magnificent 7, the olympics womens gymnastics team from 1998.
Why? I was big into gymnastics at the time, and I felt like it was a glimpse into my future. haha, didn't exactly turn out that way. And when Kerri Strug landed her vault on one leg, I still get teary eyed when I think of it!
What event are you training for/date?: RNR San Diego (1/2), June 3
What does your training schedule look like for the week? : two short runs and then a 10 miler this weekend
Any injuries or problems? : Plantar fasciitis (hasn't been bothering me, but it's there)
Highlights from last week?: AWESOME 6 mile run on Saturday, plus did 1st ever trail run.
What's your favorite "sports/health/fitness/inspirational" movie?: I love both Remember the Titans and The Blind Side. They both have good messages, some humor, and fun football footage.
