Question about meth users.
Okay so I clicked on the kidney post below and it led me to a meth slide show.
My dumb arse question: why do many of the "after" pictures have so many scabs/burns?

A lot of meth users make their own in very makeshift "labs" (can be made out of bottles, type thing). It's very dangerous and likely to explode in their faces.
Apparently another side effect is terrible hair.
I watched one of those "Interventions" one time and Meth heads can and often DO pick at their faces/skin because they see these flaws and imperfections and cannot stop picking. Its just another lovely side effect of the drug.

Because it's a drug. And some people think they can be responsible with drugs.
Other drugs, I can see. But all you have to do is look at those pictures to realize maybe this is one to stay away from.
Meth is disaterous to the body. Skin, hair, and dentists see what is called "meth mouth" - just plain horrible --- and then to think of the interior damage.
I do not understand drug use of any kind -- all drugs have risks. Prescriptions drugs are not harmless either - it is a benefit/risk balance that is always the consideration.
I know this isn't funny, but really, it's funny.

Or realize it's made from battery acid, fetilizer and sudafed. YUM!

Meth is a huge problem where I am from. Many users move to meth after abusing other drugs because it is cheap.
Cheap, easy to make and a long lasting high.
People tend to not start with meth, but with those drugs that people tend to approve of.
Um....whoah.
