Need help with 2 cocktail dresses, please
I'm going to South Beach soon and I was wondering if this dress is too wintry (I could wear it with bare legs and black high heeled strappy sandals):
Also, what type of shoe would look best with this dress?

Yes I think the first one is wintery and a little outdated to be honest.
For the 2nd one-maybe a pop of color like fuschia.
I'm glad you're honest, futurepivko. The trip is a work trip for MH and most of the women/wives there are older than me, so I am trying for a more mature look for his work dinner events. Maybe I went too far.

I don't think the first dress looks dated at all. It is a little wintery, but I think you could make it work.
I really like the second dress and I like the idea of doing a monochromatic look with it. I can't tell if the dress has more silver or gold undertones, these look like they would go well though. If not, I'd go for a nude strappy sandal. That being said, I think the dress might be too sexy for work events.
Love those sandals, SA. The metal detail is very cool.
I was thinking the 2nd dress was more for da club, post-dinner.

I agree with SA, I don't think that the first dress is dated but it is a bit wintery because of the color but agree you could make it work with the right shoes.

It's okay, you are fabulous anyway, you could go wearing a paper shack and you would look hot.
