Where should we go? Between MO and CA
My best friend and I want to meet somewhere between where we live (St. Louis and NoCal) for a 5ish day girls trip. Looking for somewhere not too out of the way to fly and that isn't going to be over the top expensive (think $100-125 a night max for a hotel or condo). We are looking to be able to be in nature and or sit by the pool. We're not partiers. We thought about Vegas for the sights and to go visit the Hoover Dam etc.. I've always wanted to see Cirque.Also have thought about Santa Fe/Albuquerque. ANy other suggestions? Thanks!

For what it's worth - I don't drink or gamble, and I LOVE Vegas
I could spend a good amount of time there enjoying food and shows, and there are plenty of options for both. It will be dreadfully hot that time of year though. If the heat bothers you, it could be an issue.
Second PPs suggestion of Denver, or another nice city in Colorado. Tahoe is also really beautiful that time of year, and has plenty of relaxing/outdoorsy activities available. I know it's not anywhere close to in the middle of MO and CA, but the Ca person could drive, and maybe pick up another cost to make up for the flight.
