Annoyance: All of the blue pens have been taken from my desk while I was gone.
Happiness: I'm glad to be back home with my Samma.

Annoyance: I don't have that much to do today. I hate slow days.
Happiness: My thighs are sore today which means the first night of 30DS actually did something. Woo!
Annoyance: I'm starving. In 20 minutes I'm going to reward myself with some red peppers and hummus. When the fluck did that become a reward?
Happiness: My cat who for 2 weeks forgot how to pee in the litter box is now peeing in the litter box again! Hooray Annie!
Annoyance: WW points for activity tracking. There is no cardio yoga option, but when everyone in my class is dripping with sweat, I'm pretty sure 75 mins should be worth more than 4 points. That's only 1 drink.
Happiness: I'm still giddy about last week's weight loss!
Stand up for something you believe in.
Annoyance: Andy's grandmother's 80th birthday party is this weekend. His mom/aunts asked me to make caramel crumb bars for it. Which is fine, I do not mind and I always offer but in his family you get a "thing" and then thats what you are asked to bring to EVERYTHING. I wish they would just say, "dessert" because I like to cook, I like to try stuff, and I am happy that everyone raves so much about the caramel crumb bars but sometimes I would like to be able to bring some variety to stuff.
Happiness: 1 week down for Rocksie's recovery, 15 to go!
Robin's family does this and it annoys the hell out of me! One person has potato salad, another green bean casserole, another corn casserole. We eat this at every meal! Try something new! I've become the dessert person, and I'm happy with that.
Annoyance: Josh is traveling 4 days next week. I decided to go to NJ with Audrey (and Lola) so I could have some kind of help...and company, for that matter. Not exactly looking forward to the 3+ hour road trip with a dog and a baby. Wish me luck!
Happiness: I'm taking Audrey to The Little Gym for the first time today! I think she's going to love it and I can't wait to see her play!:)

Annoyance: I have this funky TMJ type thing going on with my jaw. It's been somewhat hurting and my bite keeps shifting over the last week or so. Google tells me this is common in pregnancy, and midwife pretty much agreed, but it is uncomfortable and annoying. Thinking of moving up my dentist appt next month to see what they think, but jaw stuff freaks me out.
Happiness: Two weeks from today we will find out if we are having a boy or a girl!! Oh, and also, leftover double chocolate birthday cake makes me happy:)
Annoyance- I am struggling with my body image and shopping for pictures this weekend isnt helping. I know it will come and I did this to myself but still... (I have more than one) - I applied for a job, didnt get it and now they reposted the job for a second position that opened. Why do I have to apply again. Cant you just assume that since last friday I am still interested in the position?
Happiness- I am going to Cali for work and two other co-workers are coming with me. We are going out and I am SUPER pumped about it. Oh yeah and my uncle volunteered to do my back yard for 7k cheaper than our lowest quote!!!
Annoyance: I'm in charge of sitting in for my boss in like 100 meetings while she's gone, and I don't know how to answer like 90% of the questions people are asking me! I just keep saying "I'm not sure, but I can relay that question to [my boss] when she gets back." But it kind of makes me feel dumb.
Happiness: The tacos I had last night for dinner totally hit the spot. Like totally. I'm not sure how tacos became a comfort food, but I'll take it.

My annoyance and happiness today is actually stemming from the same thing. I am fairly certain that I'm going to get an offer from the job I interviewed for, likely today. So, the annoyance is that I haven't heard anything and the waiting game is lame. The happiness is, assuming the offer is good, I'll have a new job and thats exciting.
Bonus happy, Phoenix has started doing the Frere Jacques thing with her thumbs. She walks around doing it and then gets the biggest smile when you do it back to her. Its adorable.
I'm annoyed at the lack of selection in the vending machine in the break room. Stock that thing up already!
I'm happy that my allergies seem to be subsiding a bit. It's nice to breathe normally again!
