As a s/o of my confession, does anyone have one/use one? I'm thinking I need to get better about things. I end up trying to squeeze it all into my Friday off or putting it off until the weekend.
I figure if I can break things up through the week it would be better.
Re: Cleaning Schedule?
Jay has been considering this for a while. Maybe I will look into it. My parents have one that comes every other week.
I've been trying to get a cleaning person for years. Jerry won't go for it. Maybe once there's a kid, but doubtful.
So it's up to me, and well him, but he's lazy in the summer b/c he's always outside doing something and doesn't understand that the house is still dirty.

I'm not going to lie, I clean on the weekends.
I try to keep the kitchen presentable most days, but some nights the dishes sit until I cook dinner the next day.The toys in the living room are picked up each night before bed time. Bathrooms are normally wiped every other day or every three days. Right now they are done more since Xander is showing an interest in potty training again. The kitchen floor I have to vacuum and mop at least 2 times a week since Xander drags sand into it all the time. The bedrooms are only done on the weekends.
I want a cleaning person to come in once a month and do a really good cleaning. We will talk about that again in a few months since we will have more money in our budget since a few things will be paid off.

Maybe I'll ask for the once a month idea in the fall, esp if we're going to have a baby.

I had a super simple one before Sam that I got off Pinterest
Monday: Floors, sweep/vacuum
Tuesday: Dusting
Wednesday: Bathroom 1
Thursday: Bathroom 2
Friday: Kitchen, mop
Every few weeks I'd do windowsills and baseboards as part of dusting. It kept things looking halfway decent.
Now we have a short chore list on a white board with the date when it was last done - when one of us gets a spare minute we look and do whatever hasn't been done in awhile.
