Baby Girl's Name
I believe we have a name.
Alexa Marie
We agreed with Alexa awhile back but hadn't settled on a MN although there was one I was heavily considering. With the recent turn of events we decided to use one of MIL's names as the MN for our daughter.
At first we were thinking Alexa Joleen (her first name) but Andrew said that Alexa Joleen J****** reminded him too much of his mom when she was married to his dad and the whole divorce so that idea was nixed (bad memories for him). Her MN is Marie (simple and easy) so we will be going with that.
Sadly she won't be around to see her granddaughter but I think using her name will be a nice way to memorialize her.

Love it! Is A going to be able to tell his mom about your decision? It might make her feel good before she passes to know...I know she's not really "with it" right now, but I bet she'll hear him if he tells her. But I can't remember if he left already or not.

They were supposed to leave 3 1/2 hours ago with a 10 hour drive but his brother that is driving isn't ready to leave yet. It's a little frustrating (yet understandable) since Andrew has to work tomorrow and I have to drive an hour plus to pick him up from his dad's. Andrew is ready to leave. It's a bit much for him right now and I know he needs me right now.

When and if we have a girl, it will be Elizabeth Rose. Elizabeth was my mom's name and she loved roses.
