Does lipstick primer really make a difference and if so what brand do you use? Every brand of lip color that I've tried wears off quickly no matter if its supposed to be long lasting or if its expensive. I've tried blotting and powdering and it still doesn't last. Lip liner has been a bust to in keeping product where it belongs.
Re: Lipstick Primer
Hi there. I recommend Laura Gellar... Got the idea from Kandee Johnson. (Great makeup artist!!)
This will allow the true lipstick color to show through.

Primers haven't made much of a difference in keeping my lipstick on, unfortunately. however one Smashbox one has helped my 'bleeding' issue well enough. (But I'm still on the prowl for a better product.)
My favourite long wearing lipstick is from Estee Lauder:

I wear "Stay Cranberry" at least 3 or 4 times a week. It goes on nicely, doesn't feel dry/tight/miserable, and looks good 8++ hours later. (Depending on what I eat for lunch/dinner.
The description on this looks great. Thx!
No problem! Glad you liked it. Google Kandee Johnson on youtube or her blog as she has great tips and products in industry.
Off topic but the "beauty blender" and the crown brushes (they are so cheap and replacing my MAC brushes) from her to be the best kept secrets I've found!
