Oy, Derek is just getting over a cold, and now I've got a bit of a scratchy feeling in my throat and an extra runny nose. I am not impressed. I think today will be spent napping on the couch
My u/s yesterday went really well. Chewy is in fact head down (woo!) and looking all cute and chubby. While I was at 39w4d, she said he was measuring at about 38 weeks, so I guess a bit small? However, she estimated his weight right around 7 lbs something oz (I forget the oz), which as far as my doc has said is right on average. I'll find out more at my apt on Thursday.
My only real plans for today are to nap, work on some crafty projects and maybe head over to the mall to get our license place stickers. Oh, and the cable guy is coming back today, as the internet is still being weird.
How is everyone today?
Re: Happy Tuesday!
Yay, Chewy!
My night was good. We ordered Chinese food which was awesome. Then we relaxed and watched some hockey and baseball. I took a nap and got to bed early and am now feeling much more rested today (so far, anyway).
Today I'm really hoping to get my house back in order after the company this weekend. My kitchen and guest bedroom both need a little TLC.
Yay Chewy! I can't wait to see pics of LO.
Yesterday was a great day at work, but quickly went bad afterwards. I went down to the new house before Jordan's baseball to unload some stuff I had in my car that I had picked up from lowes over the weekend. I had not seen our new countertops and backsplash since the contractor installed them on Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say It looks horrible. Dh is so unhappy with it and thankfully he was there when I got there and had already seen it. He is going to meet the contractor on Thursday to point out the many many problems we have and see what can be done. Thankfully we have not paid him yet so we are only out materials right now.
Yay chewy!
That sucks crystal. I hope you get things sorted out.
I went to bed at a decent hour last night and got some good sleep, so I'm feeling much better today. Hopefully that will carry through this evening so I can get some stuff done. Unfortunately that means taxes, but it will be good to get it done, especially before we head on vacation in a few weeks.

Yay for a head down Chewy!
Crystal - I hope the contractor makes things right with you guys and that things start going a little smoother at the house for you. I can't wait to see before and after pictures!
Last night was rather uneventful, I worked late so I didn't get home until after 6:30. I decided it was to late to workout so I sat outside and read a chapter of my book and soaked up a little sun. After that it was a quick dinner. a bubble bath, and off to bed.
We're supposed to have record breaking highs today (upper 80's)! I'm hoping to get out of work early and maybe grab some dinner and drinks on a patio.
Yay for chewy being head down!
Crystal - I am so sorry. I hope he makes things right.
Last night was low key. DH had dinner ready when I walked through the door, which was nice, and then did all the clean up, and did the bed time routine with the boys. It was awesome to get a little me time of just plopping on the couch with my feet up. I don't get it often.
Tonight will be much of the same.
Have a great day ladies.
Good morning! It's only Tuesday.
I'm ready for the weekend again. I am in a serious funk I need to shake out of it.
Hopefully I'll go for a run later if it isn't so windy and will feel better.
Good morning! I'm back at work today and like all the teachers are sick. It's a bad, germ filled scene here. I've got meetings this afternoon though and can duck out early, so I'm looking forward to that.
Yay for Chewy being head down!
Boo for counters that look bad!
I felt the Squiglet start hiccuping yesterday. That's a kinda weird (but cute) sensation, for sure!

Good afternoon!
We skipped D's gym class again because I'm still coughing and he's still got a runny nose. Ugh! It's cold outside today anyway, so I guess I don't really feel like going out. We'll probably need to head out to run some errands though.

Eva, I feel the same way! And it's nice out today, finally, so all I want to do is be outside in the sun.
Raynes, yay for Chewy being head down. I can't believe how close you are.
Crystal, good luck with the contractor!
Things here are good overall. This past weekend was nuts! We tested out car seats in the new car, went to the Cub's game, and cleaned out our main storage closet plus all the closets in the office/baby's room. It was exhausting, but it feels so good to be done with all of that. Yesterday, was somewhat hectic at work, followed by an evening watching hockey and supervising while B and a friend moved our treadmill into the garage. We're having some work done on the room it was in later this week. Today should be a fairly normal work day, and hopefully relaxing evening and maybe some laundry.
Hope everyone has a good one.
Hello,
Last night was rough. I had a few emotional times where I just broke down and cried because Madison will breastfeed, fall asleep and then a few minutes later be sticking her tongue out for more. I think to myself "you just fell asleep on my boob" and don't know whether I should feed her or give her a pacifer. We haven't done a pacifer at all even though she did have it a few times in the NICU.
She got to bed at 10pm and we planned on letting her sleep until at least 3am but then she had a huge poop blowout and was up at midnight. We changed her and she went back to bed until I think 2:30. After that I think we got another good 3 hours of sleep but the sleep deprivation is really getting to me which is why I've been crying. I feel bad for DH because he feels helpless.
Today I'm trying to figure out this feeding thing out with her a bit better while DH is still home. He goes back to work on Thursday. He's out picking up some supplies and his parents and grandma are coming at 4pm so I hope to get a nap when he gets back.
Good afternoon!
I had a dentist appointment this morning and tonight I am having dinner with some co-worker friends. The boss is still out so I've been super lazy at work. Tomorrow I an appointment with our nurse to learn how to give myself shots in the azz and then I will do payroll and I think that will be about it. I'm loving the lazy week right now, but I'm sure it will come back and bite me next week.
