Movies

Jason and I were talking last night about extremely popular movies that we were surprised the other one hadn't seen. What movies are people surprised that you've never seen? Are there any movies your surprised your DH hasn't seen?

For example -

I was shocked Jason had never seen Avatar, Titanic,  or Armageddon, I thought everyone had seen those.

He was surprised I've never seen any Star Wars movie or any of the Lord of the Rings movies. I want to see both but I've never made the time to actually sit down and watch them.

Re: Movies

  • I love watching movies so there are very few big name ones that I haven't seen. I had aspirations of being a set designer when I started college and during high school

DH though has surprised me often with films he has never seen. One that comes to mind is the original Willy Wonka. I love that movie and he had never seen it before.

  • DH is 28 and I am only 23 and I was never a tv person especially movies. I have never seen footloose or dirty dancing. DH loves the movie blow I will never forget when we moved in together and got his stuff out of storage we were unpacking and I found the dvd and I was like what is this. I thought he was going to have a heart attack.

  • I've never seen Footloose either, I should add that to my Netflix list.

And you should see Dirty Dancing at least once, LOVE that movie!

  • Footloose and Dirty Dancing are cheesy but wonderful.

I also am a sucker for Working Girl if you are thinking of 80's movies.

  • B is much better at seeing classic pop culture movies.  I've never seen Weird Science, Terminator, or any of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
