Mexico is full of Catholics. When measured against perceived vast amounts of Islam, Catholicism actually ranks as a real religion. YWIA

Not that it matters what Romneys' were doing when they moved to Mexico almost 130 years ago, but...
"Kelly Romney is also a resident of Colonia Juarez. The 69-year-old is Mitt Romney's second cousin as well. He says that, among the first settlers, "it was actually a very small percentage of the church that practiced polygamy." The community hasn't practiced polygamy since the church banned it in the late 1800s."

Neither Romney's father nor grandfather practiced polygamy although they did live in a Morman community where polygamy was practiced by some.
Nothing new here.

Seriously, how was this not an issue? No one questioned that Romney wasn't natural born and thus ineligible to run?
