I know people are giving up on it, but this one was great!
I liked the Bollywood bit. It looked like they had so much fun, and it was neat to see Dev loosened up, even if it was only in the dance sequence.
Please someone kill off Ellis' character! I can't take him anymore!
Re: Smash 4/23 *spoilers*
I still dig this show! I haven't watched last night's episode yet but I know one thing for sure and that is I hate Ellis!!
And Dev - ugh, I'm over him, too.
As much as Ellis's character is a weasel, I think the show needs him. He add's the drama and someone to root against.
I thought the Bollywood thing was horrible. That's the only thing I hate about this show are the song and dance sequences that have nothing to do with the actual musical they are working on. They are completely gratuitous.
I hope Karen and Dev do split up. You know something is going to happen between him and his female colleague at some point.
That was such a b!tch move on Ivy's part to have Ellis send that text message to Karen. I guess that's showbiz though.
The preview for next week's episode looks pretty good.
i really enjoyed the bollywood scene, too. like you said, it was fun to watch dev let loose and not the uptight dude with a stick up his ass that he usually is. and katharine mcphee looked amazing.
i just don't understand how people don't see creepy ellis lurking about in the background half the time. seriously?
she looked gorgeous in her bollywood costume!!
Im sick of Ellis and Ivy and how stupid are about them.
I cant wait until Dev hits the road.

LOL, I thought this too.

I liked this episode. The Bollywood number was amazing and I loved how they encorporated everybody in the show in it. So good!
I def thought that Ivy's favor would be peanuts in the smoothie.
Wasn't there a preview for this one where someone collapsed and couldn't breathe? Or is that next weeks?
I can't decide if you're supposed to like Rebecca or hate her - or I guess do both.
I almost can't stand watching Glee because of this show now! It's Glee grown up!
I LOVE this show too! It has definitely had its ups and downs, but so far still digging it. I'm psyched it got renewed for next year and I definitely think it will improve as it goes on.
The previews last week were strange, they definitely showed something about someone passing out and everyone saying "call 911" but they used the clip where everyone runs to the door, so I'm not sure if it was a fake tease or what. They also had a preview where Rebecca told the director guy she wanted him to fire Karen. So I was waiting for that to happen.
I don't like Ellis either and I'm really hoping he gets what he deserves at some point. I think Tom is my favorite character. I love it when he sings! I also love on this show that the actors are genuinely talented singers, dancers, etc. It makes me really love to watch! The Bollywood routine was great (even though it was totally random, which I usually don't like) but it was so cool to see everyone dance!
It got picked up for season 2.
Yay! So glad to read it got renewed. I enjoyed the bollywood number even though it made no sense! Are Frank and Julia back together? Ready for Karen and Dev to split!
Good, I was worried!
I really like this show overall. Mostly, the side characters (the assistant, backup dancers/singers) annoy me immensely but I'm pretty invested in the main ones. And I really love Karen and Ivy's singing voices.

I'm late the the party, but. Good ep, I like that the drama is heating up.
Ellis is a creep. And is he gay? Bisexual? Anything-goes-to-get-ahead? He was shown with that woman several times, who I assumed was his girlfriend despite my gaydar going off full-toot. Then he propositioned Rebecca's agent or wheatverthehell, right?
The Bollywood...I cringed at first. I was like, Oh god, how horribly strange and awkward. But by the end, I was enjoying watching the entire cast flailing about like idiots. And I definitely see clouds looming for Karen and Dev. I'm kind of sad about it but he is getting irritatingly controlling.
Ivy totally has a better voice than Karen. I have a hard time buying into the "Ivy isn't good enough" undertone of the show. She effing rocks, but I suppose that's why she has had actual lead roles on Broadway hit shows.
