Give me your good news! I don't care how small it is, but I'm sure you have some little something in life that puts a little pep in your step. So share the positive energy because it is contagious!
Re: Good News Wednesday!!!!!
I'm off next week. I am going to see The Avengers this weekend (I LOVE me some superheroes!). I am heading to Germany in May and am pretty psyched!
ETA: one more good news! I just made a vet appt for my cat by telephone in french. I'm proud of my level in french!
Every time I see or hear someone discussing The Avengers, I think "Emma Peel?" But I guess that is just showing my age.
But my good news is that I have gotten all the photos uploaded and my grandmother's mother's day present will be done this weekend.
Yes, I know it's lame news, but with family all over the US and me in Australia, it was a bit of a hassle to get everyone together.
A good friend who lives in Germany is in Paris for work and we're having dinner tonight.
Myblueangel- we have a hiatus from visitor craziness at the end of next week (resumes May 9th through the end of the month). I'm out of phone credits at the moment, but I'll text you soon to try to make a plan?
I'm off next week, so if you have any free time then, that would be great! If you are at all interested in doing yoga again, I'm in dire need of some exercise...it has been probably two months since I have done anything.
Sending you a PM.
We were going to repair part of a little deck in our backyard, only to find that previous owners built that over some other stuff that's actually really cool. So We're ditching the deck and will have awesome flower beds and such instead. (we have 2 big terraces, so we really don't need the little deck as well)
Also, the garden store just deliveded two large pieces of privacy fence which we'll install this 3-day-weekend so we can sit outside without my neighbor constantly wanting to talk with us.
DH has a 3 day weekend and I even have a 4-day weekend. I love it!

What I'm looking forward to in 2012:
Eating our way through (northern) Italy on vacation

Just a few more days of living with the ILs...can't wait to get settling into our new place and be alone with my little family again! Although, they have been so helpful this past month and are coming with us for a week to help us unpack. I love my ILs, but staying with them gets tiring.
Wow, so exciting! Good luck with everything.
Move is tomorrow!!
My BFF is coming for a visit this summer, she'll stay with us and willl be bringing her kitty. Can't wait! I'm so glad our new place is big enough to contain guests properly.
1. I have a 4 day weekend coming up :-)
2. We agreed on colours to repaint the LR/DR/kitchen and will hopefully have it all done by end of said long weekend :-)
3. DH is painting as I type, saving me some of the "helping" i.e. painting the skirting boards & cleaning after/around him
This doesn't sound like good news, but I just put DH on a plane to Nairobi for five days. I hate when he's away, but I need this time to actually start writing my dissertation proposal (it's just a minor one, Kelly, nothing near what you're doing). Friday and Tuesday are public holidays so I should have plenty of time to get some work in!
good news...
- We have survived one week living at my in-laws'.
- We will move into our beautiful new home soon, someday, eventually, when the bank decides to sign the freaking paper...but it will happen!!
- By living at my in-laws', we are saving lots of money on internet, cable, water, food etc.

Now Nesting from Chicago, IL My nail blog:
So I stopped by before this was put up yesterday, so I'm doing good news Thursday I guess.
Ryan started his new job this week!!!
I got my passport stuff in the mail!! (Crazy story, but basically after I applied for my passport the Dept. of State wanted a lot more info from me before they'd give me my passport because my documents were too new... I had to send in a four page form, documents from early childhood such as school and medical records, and stuff such as yearbook photos. It was probably about 70 pages total)
I found out what my bloodtype is! My mom told me when I was a little kid but I forgot and so did she... so I haven' tknown. I donated blood a few months ago and I just got the thing in the mail telling me what my type is. This makes me happy.
My last reference has been submitted by my friend for a job I want. Praying!!"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." -Isaiah 61:10 NKJV
