Chino shorts: J. Crew? Where else to look?
I purchased some from J. Crew Factory, and I thought that the material was kind of thin- a bit disappointing.
Does anyone know if the regular J. Crew shorts are made of thicker material? Are they worth it, or should I look elsewhere?

I have a pair from Factory and while I don't mind them, they are not as thick as the regular ones. I have about 8 pairs and I really like them. This will be the 3rd summer I'm wearing them and they look brand new.
I saw some cute ones at Loft but I'm not sure how thick they are.
I agree with trying J.Crew, not the Factory. I tried on shorts at the Factory store and hated them because the material was so thin. I really like my regular J.Crew ones.
My favorite shorts are from Banana Republic, they are the rolled short. I have them in navy and khaki, both are a couple years old and they are still my go-to shorts. They are the perfect length and I have actually wore them unrolled if I want them a bit longer.
