My best friend is pregnant, and I'm in charge of the shower!! We have a date picked (July 1) and she is having a girl. I need ideas for a "theme"!! I have a few games in mind, but suggestions on those are always welcome. I want to make invites I think (instead of the fill them out generic ones, but I can do those too.) I just don't have any ideas! I was planning on doing a baseball theme if it was a boy, but it isn't!!

They have a ton of ideas. I'd also suggest looking it up on Pinterest.
just an idea... with books....instead of cards have everyone bring a book as a card my mom did that with my shower and I now have a wonderful collection of books
also check www.catchmyparty.com they have a lot of ideas
do you know what her nursery will be decorated as? you could play off of that theme.
my baby shower had a "rubber ducky" theme which is kind of gender neutral, it was cute. They had this punch that was blue and had a rubber ducky floating in it it was really cute.
also if you go to a party store they should have some themed stuff so you could get some ideas there.
Have fun!
An idea for invitations once you select your theme...
Check out Etsy! I purchased a design off of there for like $12. The designer customized it to the information I needed it to say and then sent me the file. I had 5x7s printed on Shutterfly, and they turned out so cute!!
I was going to suggest the nursery thing too. We were team green, but knew we were going to have a Disney nursery (mostly b/c all our Disney stuff was in the office, we weren't going to take EVERYTHING off the walls) so my SIL did a Mary Poppins theme for my shower in PA (one of my favorite Disney movies). I also live Cari's book suggestion!
