Random F&B confession: primer

Since I've been using primer, I still don't get the hype.

I haven't noticed a difference in how my makeup goes on, or how long it lasts.

Maybe I will see a difference as the weather becomes hotter, and I really start sweating....

I feel so alone by admitting that primer has not changed my life. Wilted Flower

You're not the only one.

I've tried the sample primers from sephora, bare minerals and smashbox. I've tried the monistat trick. Recently I've been using Benefit Primed and Poreless, but I don't see a big difference.

Primer makes a big difference for me in our steamy summers when makeup normally disappears in minutes. I don't use it during the rest of the year since it doesn't make a big difference for me.

Eye shadow primer changed my life. I don't use full face primer. But the eye shadow primer is key to keeping my eye make-up on. Looks 100% better and last through my workout.

I have to admit, I notice a small change in the way my make up goes on. Maybe it's because I have large pores, but when I use it my skin looks polished and smooth. It alo helps my make up set and stay on. I'm currently using Benefit's Pore primer, but have used the monistat (did nothing for me) as well as Sephora brand...same as monistat, and Bare Minerals..eh, ok. I definitely like the Benefit:)

Eyeshadow primer does a world of good for me. I never really thought that foundation primer did anything, although I liked the feel of it.

Eyeshadow primer is now a necessity for me. Face primer...not so much. I have sensitive skin and it was too heavy for me.

I don't wear foundation so I definitely don't use primer on my face, but I'm really not into eyeshadow primer. I got the UD one, but I hardly use it. I wear really sheer, light, earth toned type eyeshadow so I guess that's why. I don't really have anything that needs to be stuck in a certain place.

Hang in there, I'm the same! I've sampled 3 different primers and none of them have changed my life. I opted to spend that money elsewhere

maybe it's because I tend to have oily skin, but I really notice a difference with primer. my make-up stays on and looks good all day, which it doesn't without it!
