Field trip money was due on Monday. On Monday, I told the kids that I would not accept anything after Wednesday. I just got a lovely phone call from a dad letting me know that I would accept his child's tomorrow. WTF, people?! How are you ever suppose to teach kids about responsibility? Also, I have money to receipt, a final count to provide, and chaperone lists to make. Stop making this harder. Follow a freaking deadline.
Re: WTF Wednesday
WTF to the extremely happy cashier at Kwik Trip this morning. No one should be that happy and giggly and 5am. Just take my money and let me be my grumpy self, I'll cheer up after I've finished my giant coffee TYVM.
WTF to the German brewery I'm currently working with. The place is a Brewery/Abbey/Church & Convent... how weird is that? Makes my day a little more interesting knowing that I'm emailing a beer brewing German Nun.
WTF new Daycare lady. Her comment to me "he's SO skinny! Are you feeding him enough?"
WTF lady... he's tall, skinny and perfectly healthy. And what do you mean 'am I feeding him enough'? YOU gave him 12oz of milk while he was in your care and he was content. Moron. She was so snotty about it, I just wanted to slap her.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
I had a client once who used to fake seizures. After she had a third one in the office (when I worked outpatient) in like less than a month, I pinched her while she was "seizing" - she stopped flopping around on the floor, yelled "OW!" and looked at me like I was crazy. I told her to get off the floor and go to group.
I was sick of wasting the paramedics time. They told us after the last one she was probably faking them, so I felt pretty confident in my "method." Probably still could have gotten me in trouble though, lol.
