I *just* ordered T's birthday gift. His birthday is on Monday and we'll be coming home from our little vacation. If it happens to get here before then it won't even be wrapped. FAIL

Re: Wifely FAIL
For the past two years DH has bought and ordered his own birthday and Christmas presents.
At least he got what he wanted.
At least he's getting something! haha.
Me too.
I find gift giving holidays and birthdays irrationally stressful.
As do I. I'm glad I'm not alone.
It is stressful.
Wanting to give the perfect gift while hearing people say "You don't have to get me anything!" or "I'll love whatever you choose!". It doesn't release one from the stress of it, IT MAKES IT THAT MUCH MORE OF A CHALLENGE!
At least you got him a present...we usually just buy a card & go out to dinner, no presents for birthdays the past few years.
