In May my husband and I are married for two years. He's a software engineer and he's a bit of a geek. I already bought him one present ( the latest guild wars game) , but he was expecting that one so I'd like to get him something extra.
He likes things that are useful. I was thinking like a rubiks cube note pad, funny superman underwear,a funny nerd mouse pad, a half an hour in a porsche ( not really useful but so nice)..
When I ask him what he'd like he says stuff like a reading lamp?! Or a plant? Those aren't anniversary presents to me. That's the stuff you buy together. He says he doesn't want a gift but who doesn't like a gift?
Any tips ladies?

... together? as in, you need each other's support and advice in picking out a plant?

OMG! He sound just like my Hubby! I'm getting mine the Guild Wars game this week.lol
Guys are sooo hard to shop for...You could always play it safe and get him a nice new watch or wallet..Or a tv Series on dvd he really likes... Or something for his comp.. My cousin surprised her husband with a dual monitor, he was able to play his PC games looking at two screens to enhance his gameing experiance.. Just to throw a few ideas out there.
Hope thats helpful.

How is playing it safe and getting him a watch or wallet any better than getting him a reading lamp or plant, which he has specifically requested?
