Re: Glee 4/24

  • haha he is Awesome.
  • I've always been a huge Blaine fan, but Darren Criss really brought it this week! He was amazing. Amazing.

    I loved everyone's reactions during Blaine's song.

Always love Brittany dancing, and she didn't do too horribly singing that song. Never thought they would have her of all people singing a Whitney song.

Loved Chris Colfer's performance during his song, he always does great at the emotional stuff.

The Kurt/Burt scene was great, as always

Joe and Quinn are cute, I like it.

"Why does mine say 'drink til she's cute'?"

The whole scene with Blaine and Kurt in Emma's office was priceless.

The Rachel/Santana sudden friendship feels forced to me, but as always I loved Rachel's "I'm going to hug you now"

I teared up multiple times this episode and my husband made fun of me, lol.

From the preview it looked like Kurt might be doing Phantom of the Opera... I will die of happiness if that happens!

  • Kurt "I Have Nothing"

OH. MY. GAWD. my favorite Whitney song by my favorite Glee actor. I was crying. AMAZING.

I have a total crush on Chris Colfer, in a "I want him to be my gay best friend" kind of way, and have had this crush for a while now.

  • I loved this episode. LOVED!!
  • I loved this episode too.  I really loved Blaine's performance - it is now one of my favourites.  I wish Brittany didn't sing " I wanna dance with somebody".   I love that song and would have liked to hear a stronger singer sing it, even though it makes sense for her to sing it

I really didn't like Kurt's song.  It was painful to listen to.

    Haha - all of this!!!

I actually thought the first song was really good last night too, but I'm blanking and can't think of the name of it.

I teared up a bit when Kurt and his dad were talking about Kurt moving.  I had to hide from DH because he would have laughed at me for getting emotional!

We don't watch previews in our house (DH's rule, not mine) but I'm sure he will be very excited to hear Kurt doing Phantom!

    Anniversary

  • I actually enjoyed this episode more than I thought I would - the singing was done really well

I really liked the Rachel/Santana scene as well and I felt so bad for Mr. Schu when he was talking about his kids graduating!

  • I was disappointed in Kurt's performance.  I thought the song needed more range or something else Kurt wasn't able to bring.

However, I did like Britney's performance so maybe I'm not the best judge of talent after reading some of the other comments.  I loved Santana in every song she sang. Mercedes, too.

  • The whole ep was great.

Kurt and Blaine's songs were perfect and I loved everyone's reactions in them.

I wish Burt was my dad!

  • I felt the opening number was gorgeous - totally acapella and flawless.

I was never big into Blaine but his performance of "It's not right but it's okay" really changed my opinion of him.

While I usually love Kurt, I felt that there was passion or desperation or aggression - something just missing from "I Have Nothing."  That is a song of deep sadness, like just guttural desire and not as whiny as he was, you know?

    Go babies Caden!
  • i thought this episode was one of the best ones in awhile! i'm just sad they aren't releasing all the songs on one album like they did for madonna or rocky horror.
