Hey!  You're the one who helped me last year, I think, when I was planning on going to the Cooks. Your hubby is from or has family there right?  I'm really thinking it might happen this time ;)  I was wondering, do you think 6 days is enough time to relax on Raro?  With the flights how they are, it seems like you either have to go for 6 days or almost 2 weeks - is that right?  ANZ has a good price for when we want to go, but I'm not sure 2 weeks is feasible for us with working and all that. Or, maybe it is, but then it seems like a long time to be there - I know we could go to another island, but then it really drives the price up, too.

Thanks for your thoughts!

  • You're thinking of Maggie78 -- I just went there on a trip in 2010. But we just did the one week thing and actually squeezed in Aitutaki and Raro. It's so quiet and laid back in the Cooks you're pretty much relaxed as soon as you get there!

  • Oh thanks!! Great to know. I'll check out your link... Did you leave lax on a sunday/ arrive Monday and leave the cooks late Saturday night? Thanks again and going to check your blog!
  • Oh I read it on your blog!! I'm so excited. I'm still reading. We are thinking of the little Polynesian too.
