LIP: Gap shorts- Has anyone seen/try/have them?

I have been looking for some nice chino shorts, and I posted on here a few days ago asking for brand suggestions. Many people said J. Crew, Loft, LE Canvas. I was planning to go to J. Crew and try some on, but I just got an email from Gap and they are on sale right now for $30 (normally $39.50).

Has anyone tried/seen/have the Gap chinos? I'm looking at the regular canvas shorts. Just wanted to know about the quality, material, would it last more than 1 season?

back story- I order some J. Crew Factory chino shorts and were really disappointed at how thin the material was and cheap looking it was...

Re: LIP: Gap shorts- Has anyone seen/try/have them?

  • I have a pair from two years ago and I don't really care for the fit.  I'm an hourglass with kind of chunky thighs and the shorts are super tight for me in the thighs but baggy in the waist.  The material is ok...I prefer my Loft shorts though.
  • I'm with Acorn, the shorts aren't a good fit for my body shape. I prefer my Loft shorts too.
