what kind of floor tile to complement white ceramic shower tile?

I don't know what is going on with me, but I am having serious issues picking floor tile for the bathroom we are renovating. The dudes are doing the tiling this weekend, so we are under the gun to pick something.

I really love the look and scale of white 6x8 tiles laid out in a brickwork pattern. I was waffling between that and subway tile laid in a herringbone pattern - but I wonder if that's too trendy?

Anyway - I need to pick floor tile and I can not find anything I like. I just can not visualize. I see lots of cool bathroom floors with those little hex tiles and penny tiles etc... but I think I don't love so much grout on a floor - so I'm looking at 12x12 tiles. But they all seem weird to me with the glossy white wall tile.

I've been looking at zillions of pics on pinterest, but I haven't seen anything yet that is helping me.

Help! Picking this stuff is so much harder than i thought!
